Dan Spoke about the keys to effective communications:

1. Extemporaneous Excellence:
Practice being prepared for your next meeting, networking, event, sales call, or meeting with your spouse/kids

2. Stories:
Personal stories are critical to relationship building, analogy, metaphors, and communicating your message. Dan suggests putting together a story file.

3. I-You Ratio:
Become cognizant of WIIFM. Improve your ration of saying "you" more often than "I."
